Hilarious 4 year old thoughts...

I asked my 4 year old daughter, "Do you want a pink baby or a blue baby?" She responded quickly, "A black one!" OMG, hilarious! I don't think she'll get that one... of course she's too young to know what that really means but classic.

16 week doctor's appointment and BIG ultrasound scheduled!

I went to the doctor's yesterday for my 16 week appointment, very uneventful. They took my blood, which made me woosy. The baby's heart beat was 152 BPM, which is lower than it has been but still great. No ultrasound this time no matter how hard I tried. I gained a pound in the past month which is great, at least I'm not losing anymore! At first they scheduled my big gender ultrasound for the 16th of August, but I called back this morning and got them to change it to the 9th at 9! So excited! What do you think, boy or girl?

What should I name the baby? Votes needed!

I have set up 2 baby name polls. I haven't discussed any of them with my husband! And he probably won't like any of them anyways :), maybe we'll get lucky! Please vote, I need advice and opinions!

Worried.....

I just weighed myself for the first time since my doctor's appointment 2 weeks ago, I'm down 3 more pounds. So that makes my total weight lost since getting pregnant at 15 pounds. I'm 15.5 weeks now and am eating lots. I've never lost any weight during pregnancy and have a really hard time losing it when I want to. With my last 2 pregnancies I gained approx 45 pounds with each. So, this weight loss really worries me. My doctor had said if I lose any more weight at my next appointment that they would have to check my thyroid. I guess there may be a bright side in a kind of twisted way, I'm 8 pounds heavier than my pre-any babies weight from 5 years ago....

Everything went awesome, heart beat is at 164 BPM and last time it was 169 BPM. I'm measuring exactly on my due date, which is kind of crazy. She said the measurements look great and she's not worried about anything. The baby was wiggling everywhere and looked like it was sucking it's thumb, but can't share any since my scanner's broken! I love more weight. I told her that I've been eating alot better than before pregnancy so she's not worried but she said if I lose anymore weight at the next appointment she'll check my thyroid through my blood. That's a big IF though

. The ultrasound tech said if she had to make a bet on the gender, she'd bet GIRL. But the umbilical cord was down there so she can't be 100% certain. I thought it was a girl the whole time and intelligender said girl. The girls were great at there, so quiet which is weird. My 4 year old asked if it was a boy and when I told her later that it's probably going to be a girl she said she'd cry because she doesn't want a girl, she wants a boy because she's never had
a baby boy before.

10 week doctor's appointment and ultrasound

Everything is going great! The ultrasound is measuring baby right on for it's 'age'. The heart beat is 169 which, according to old wives tales, means a girl. I also took an Intelligender test 2 days ago which said it was a girl. I am betting this will be girl #3. Just as long as baby's healthy, that's all that matters!! I go back in 3 weeks for an ultrasound for down-syndrome. There was a new ultrasound lady this time, which I really enjoyed. She told me the earliest you can tell what sex you're having would be at 13.5 weeks, which I will be at the next ultrasound! I hope I get her again so she can maybe see something down there!!

The best purchase I've EVER made in my baby career!

Ok I'm really excited if you can't tell! I found this awesome car seat (with base) and stroller frame new in box on craigslist this morning for $100, not too bad. I was trying to find more pictures of it when I found a post from a blog saying that it was ringing up at Target for $35! The post was dated from yesterday, so I called my Target and they said we have 3 but I can't hold any of them. So I rushed over there. The original price is $98 since it's on clearance but it rings up $35!!! I would have bought all 3 but just one BARELY fit into my car. It's a Graco Snugrider Boxy Style. The car seat is really cute, it's blue and gray sort of checkered. It's definitely not ugly or old school looking and it neutral! Call your local Targets ladies! I live in Denver but there's people all over finding them!

Baby #3 on the way!

I'm 9 weeks pregnant with baby #3. My due date is 1/1/11, very unique! Horrible morning sickness! I've actually lost 10 pounds in the last 3 weeks, way different than the last 2! Wish me luck :)
